Getting Things Started

If you are reading this, I hope it is because you are already a devoted fan of the great Jimmy Cliff or perhaps are just a music lover seeking to learn about this great artist. I've only been a fan for a couple of years, but I have come to understand that he has a special place in music history as one of the greatest reggae artists of all time. But beyond that, he has influenced countless artists in many genres. His songs deal with timeless themes of struggle and triumph, joy and pain, and the belief that a better day is on the horizon. It is my hope to do a few very specific things with this blog:

1. Create a place where the fans of Mr. Cliff can show their deep appreciation for his music
2. Introduce people who are unaware of Mr. Cliff to his wonderful music
3. Help further awareness of Mr. Cliff's career that will ultimately lead to his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
